We are thrilled to share with you a remarkable breakthrough in the power generation industry thanks to our onsite machining services. When one of our clients faced damaged sealing faces on their heat exchanger, we developed an innovative solution that revolutionizes the repair process.
Traditionally, repairing heat exchangers required costly removal from the site, resulting in significant downtime. However, we modified our OD mounted flange facing machine, making it hollow inside with a shorter and more robust arm and tool post. This breakthrough allowed us to move the machine over the tube bundle, swiftly reaching and repairing the damaged area on-site.
THE ADVANTAGES OF OUR MODIFIED APPROACH ARE:
FASTER REPAIRS:
On-site repairs eliminate the need for equipment removal, reducing downtime significantly.
COST SAVINGS:
By avoiding expensive disassembly and transportation, our solution offers substantial cost savings.
VERSATILITY:
We can adapt this approach to heat exchangers of different diameters, expanding its application across industries.
RELIABLE RESULTS:
Our skilled technicians ensure high-quality repairs, restoring heat exchanger performance effectively.
Since implementing this innovation, we have successfully used it to solve similar problems for other clients as well. By utilizing different diameter machines, we deliver fast and cost-effective repairs, minimizing downtime and maximizing uptime for our clients.
