DGC is pleased to announce the restructuring of its Refractory Anchor Division, previously known as Dickinson Industrial Products (Pty) Ltd. This subsidiary has now been integrated as a Division of Dickinson Industries (Pty) Ltd.
The Refractory Anchor Division offers a wide range of industrial products and services to the mining, metal smelting, mineral processing and refining industries.
The Division is fully aligned to The Dickinson Group of Company’s mission statement:
“To focus on helping our industrial customers optimise their maintenance costs and improve plant performance, by providing innovative solutions together with our market leading technologies to enhance the service life of clients operating assets.”
The Refractory Anchor Division business processes have further been refined to better serve its clients through improved response times, as well as reduced manufacturing lead times.

ABOUT REFRACTORY ANCHOR MANUFACTURING
This Division designs, manufactures and supplies an extensive range of high-quality custom-made refractory anchors. The anchors are suitable for most refractory linings including bricks, castable, mouldable, spray on, or ceramic fibre withstanding temperatures of up to 1600°C. The various material grades of refractory anchors are manufactured in the company’s state-of-the-art facilities using wire coil. The wire coil adheres to strict internal material specifications, and undergoes the required annealing process. Material grades are carefully selected, depending on temperature and furnace atmospheric conditions to provide the most suitable attachment points for refractory material. Dickinson Industries (Pty) Ltd.’s full in-house design and manufacturing capabilities result in rapid turnaround times on custom anchor designs, as well as a unique range of high-quality anchor systems. This facilitates an increase in speed and accuracy of installation, ultimately allowing clients to save on costs. The Refractory Anchor Division offers flexible services, ranging from simple refractory anchor supplies to complete turnkey solutions; involving the design and planning of anchoring systems, as well as installation.
REFRACTORY ANCHORS PRODUCT RANGE
The vast range of hand and stud welded refractory anchors are suitable for various applications. The different classes of anchors are: Standard and custom-made refractory anchors for monolithic linings with the following properties:
Single and Multi-Layer linings – Y series, V series and Bullhorn.
Steel Alloy grades: 304, 316, 310 and 253ma.
Various thicknesses including 5.5, 8, 10 and 12 mm.
Standard and custom-made refractory anchors for brick linings:
Staples, Scissor Clips, Claws, Tie Back Anchors, Support Brackets.
Ceramic fibre anchors for applications over a wide range of operating temperatures:
Press on Clip Systems, Threaded, Fibre-lock Pins, Lock Washers and Spring Clip Washers.
