DGC recently received an order from a South African steel manufacturing company to manufacture anchors for a walking beam furnace. Originally recommended by DGC to utilize stud weld anchors, the client insisted on using hand weld anchors which were supplied as requested. As expected, a few days later the client contacted us saying they were behind schedule, the hand weld anchors were taking too long to install, and were in urgent need of our assistance.
With DGC’s expertise, we managed to install 3500 anchors in just one shift, solving their problem in excellent time and giving the client 4 days of legroom before their completion deadline.
