A BRIEF OVERVIEW OF THE INDUSTRIAL VACUUMATION PROCESS

Industrial Vacuumation generally involves the pneumatic conveyance of spilled or stored material within a production facility. It is a highly efficient and versatile process for removing salvageable materials or industrial waste contained in tanks, containers, surface impoundments or process vessels. Using high suction velocities, the vacuum units can convey almost any material that will fit through a six-inch hose over a distance of up to 30m. Material or waste is deposited into truck-mounted collector modules, for transportation to ultimate recovery or disposition.

Heavy duty vacuum units are also suitable for suctioning, discharging and transporting fluid and hazardous substances, such as liquids, sludge, fats, oils, fuels, chemicals and industrial products. Industrial Vacuumation offers a safe, reliable solution for cleaning up industrial waste, recovering and recycling valuable raw materials and ensures on-going productions while maximizing quality and efficiency.

BENEFITS

Some of the benefits of industrial vacuumation include the following:

  • Salvageable materials may be recovered and put back into the production line thereby increasing plant throughputs.

  • Offers a safe, reliable and effective solution for cleaning up industrial waste (solid or liquid).

  • Ensures on-going production during the Vacuumation operations.

  • Units may have vacuum, storage and bagging capabilities in a closed system (free of emissions).

  • Efficient suction capacity with a maximum air displacement of up to 8,100 m3/hour, and a blowback capacities of 1.050 mbars.

  • Large pressure and vacuum tank volume capacity, ideal for an industrial environment.

  • Ensures compliance with environmental and safety standards.

  • Handling of materials in a range of industries including copper gold, alumina, cement, platinum, ferrochrome, iron ore, coal and others
